-Suresh Raina is the highest run scorer in the Indian Premier League(IPL) with 1709 runs.
-He scored a test century on debut and was only the fourth Indian to do so.
-Raina scored an ODI century off just 66 balls against Hong Kong which was at the time the second fastest ODI century by an Indian following Azharudin's century off 62 balls. Raina's century is now the fourth fastest century by an Indian and fifteenth in the world.
-He was the first Indian to score a century in an international T20 match.
-He is the only Indian to score international centuries in ODIs, tests and T20s.
-Being a part time spinner, Raina had the fifth best economy among the bowlers bowling more than 20 overs.
-Raina is the only player to have scored more than 400 runs in all the four editions of the IPL.
-Raina also holds the record for the most number of catches (27) for a non-wicketkeeper.
